Your opinion on "new" Stoner duos?

It goes without saying of course that Cheech and Chong are the quintessential stoner duo. They will probably never be outdone, replaced, or forgotten.

But throughout the years, and even very recently, more and more stoner duos are popping up. Some are great, some leave a lot to be desired, but all of them owe their due to the old C&C.

The most obvious one would be Harold and Kumar, who out of all of them are the most successful and popular. Jay and Silent Bob are an easy second, not only following the credentials of a great stoner duo, but also fill the archtype for a modern "fat and skinny" duo, which only a few greats come along every so often.

Seth Rogan is also a very important figure in stoner culture, and recently released his first "stoner duo" film with Pineapple Express, with James Franco as they starred as "Dale and Saul".

A few other modern duos would be Method Man and Redman, Craig and Smokey (of the "Friday Films"), and one particular that sticks out isn't even a duo - no, the four buddies of How High - "Thurgood, Brian, Scarface, and Kenny" have become an important group all of their own.

These are just a few of the most notable examples, but what do you think of them? Do some properly carry the torch of Cheech and Chong, while others leave a lot to be desired?

And also, do you have a personal favorite modern duo?
