Tommy Chong is free!!!!

Dear Cheech and Chong Fans,

Tommy Chong is Free Today (July 7th,2004) We should celebrate. But we should also be ashamed at ourselves for fighting a harder fight and letting the Government release Tommy earlier and not the 9 months he was sentenced 2. I'll like to thank Bobby Capps for his big fight against "the man" cuz he did put up a fight and the rest of us just sat on our ass and did nothing. We'll on the good note Chong is free and The new Cheech and Chong movie will be on its way soon. YAY!!!!!!!

I'm glad to hear Tommy's out now. We have always had a "Chong-A-Thong Party" every year on his birthday, but this year is just wasn't the same when the clock hit 4:20 here in Denver. We all really missed him and I'm sure him and Shelby will be doing that sexy latin dance they do so well in the bedroom tonight!!!
Hope to see them again in the Mile HIGH city, He sign everything I had just while he was here, they are the coolest couple, Everybody smoke one for Tommy's honor. Fan since the true 70's and I have always respected him as not just the stoner but the "Man" he is. "Semper Fi" Tommy & the Chong Family.

I know he was sceduled to get out on the 7th, but the announcment that said he was released is dated the 6th, anyone know why?
