I saw Leno and it was hilarious. It felt good to see Chong on Leno, then with Cheech coming up making a surprise cameo, that my fellow ganja heads made my day. That night I also got my sister hooked on C & C, in more ways then one. One love. Long live C & C.

Jay Leno says, "I am really upset about this" referring to the nine months in prison that Tommy Chong recently served. Did Jay just hear about it now? Where was Jay Leno the last nine months? Why didn't Jay Leno say something funny about it and bring attention to it in his monologues during the past months?

Jay is well known for his Republican support of President Bush and that includes the man Bush appointed as the attorney general...Mr. Ashcroft. What did Jay expect from these guys?

Why didn't Tommy make some statement about the administration that sent him to jail? The election is a few months away...we need to speak out and not be afraid.

To be fair, Jay's spoken out on Tommy's behalf before.

And the War on Drugs started a long time ago, in a place far, far away. Even when Democrat Bill Clinton was in office, the war was waging fierce as ever. Whatever Jay's political inclinations are, I feel he truly thought that what happened to Tommy was wrong, and he has spoken out about it before. It didn't surprise me that Tommy did his first interview on The Tonight Show at all.

Leno has spoken out against the drug war and the treatment of Tommy. Leno works for NBC...He can only do so much on the air.

Busting Tommy was the dumbest thing Ashcroft could have done. I hadn't thought about Cheech and Chong or pot in years. When they busted Tommy, I switched from Republican to Libertarian, and I was a registered Republican for over thirty years. Many others did the same.

That makes Tommy a true American Hero in my book!
